Sea Salt Can Be Used to Exfoliate Skin at Home

Believe it or not, sea salt has and is being used by Ford models like Katie (in the video) to exfoliate their skin. Katie admits to swimming in the Pacific to keep her skin healthy. Yes, we all know how sea water can sting on the skin especially if the sun hits it, but a little bit of sea salt may be all you need to get that exfoliating fix for your face and body skin.

If you can't afford to go to a beach, you can just buy sea salt. Ask your local grocery is they have some. This salt comes directly from the sea and is coarse. You really shouldn't use the salt directly on your skin. You have to dissolve the granules in water first to reduce their size and make them gentler for use on skin.

While taking a bath you can soak in this sea salt water and brush the fine salt on your skin. You can avoid getting the salty water in your eyes. You don't have to soak for too long, because your skin may go wrinkly like it's been in the water for too long. Listen to what model Katie has to say.
